This exclusive 8-day horseback journey is a soulful immersion into Slovenia’s peaceful natural world. Ride through pristine forests, hidden valleys, mountain villages, and crystal lakes, experiencing slow travel at its finest. Day One:
Arrive at your charming family-run farm stay in Narin, where you’ll meet your hosts and guides for the week. Settle into the peaceful surroundings, take a refreshing swim in the pool, and enjoy a delicious homemade dinner featuring regional ingredients.
A gentle and luxurious start to your adventure.

Day Two:
After breakfast, transfer to the stables and meet the horse who will be your partner on the trail. Enjoy a relaxed introductory ride, learning or refreshing the basics of western riding and beginning to bond with your mount.
Lunch is served at the stables by your private chef. In the afternoon, ride back to Narin along a dramatic route that passes beneath a stone wall and through a tunnel carved into the rock.
Enjoy pool time or a pre-booked massage before dinner.
Riding: 4 hours

Day Three :
Your true trail adventure begins as you ride into the Brkini region, known for family orchards and homemade schnapps, which you’ll have the chance to taste along the way.
Tonight, stay at Tourist Farm Peternelj, surrounded by nature and the soothing sound of a nearby stream.
Riding: 6 hours

Day Four:
Today’s ride leads past the tranquil Klivnik and Mola lakes, rich in local fish such as trout, carp, and pike. Here, your private chef greets you with an elegant outdoor picnic, beautifully presented in this green lakeside oasis.
Weather permitting, enjoy a refreshing swim before continuing your journey to a peaceful village beneath Mount Kozlek, where a spectacular sunset often ends the day.
Riding: 6 hours

Day Five:
Venture into the deep forests of Snežnik — remote, untouched, and home to bears, wolves, and other wildlife. The trail takes you through marmot habitat and eventually to Masun, a historic site hidden among fir and spruce, where a once magnificent hunting lodge once stood.
In the evening, join an experienced hunter for a chance to observe bears in the wild, followed by a rustic, gourmet dinner inspired by regional forest cuisine.
Riding: 6 hours

Day Six:
Ride along scenic trails across the peaks of Milonja, where panoramic views stretch across the wilderness. Enjoy another beautifully prepared lunch in nature before returning your horses to their home stables. Transfer back to Narin for a serene evening by the pool.
Riding: 6 hours

Day Seven:
Enjoy a gentle final ride through the countryside, ideal for one last connection with your horse and this beautiful landscape. After a leisurely lunch, spend your final afternoon resting at the pool or treat yourself to a massage (pre-booking recommended).
Riding: 3 hours
Day Eight:
After a hearty farm breakfast, it’s time to say farewell to the landscapes, people, and horses that have made this journey unforgettable.
Food and Accomodation
You will stay in charming, locally owned farm stays offering comfort and true rural character one of them have a pool so bring your swimming suite.
Breakfast and dinner taken at the place where we will start or finish the day. Breakfast is buffet style with an assortment of breads, home-made jams, cheese, honey, yoghurt and cereals, with tea and coffee. A private chef will prepare gourmet trail lunches . Most of the meals will include meat but it is possible to arrange vegetarian meals with advance notice. Lunches and dinners include delicious local wine.
